Tell me about www.wildlifecare.org.
In May of 1999, www.wildlifecare.com is registered by Paul Okenka to assist local wildlife organizations in educating the local public with names and numbers of local rehabbers, veterinarians and other agencies when an injured or orphaned wild animal is found. A list of wildlife rehabbers is formed so that visitors with their questions can find a wildlife rehabber in their area of the world. The individuals or groups participating in this list provide their own information and are responsible for maintaining their own requirements and regulations pertaining to their specific regions of the world.
In 2006, family matters required that I shut down www.wildlifecare.com until I can offer the time and resources needed to operate this site. Presently I am back at it, trying to make this website more efficient. I soon will be adding an area where rehabbers can pull together their resouces to better help the animals and themselves. I hope to add many educational and fun things to this site for the future. Come back often and watch www.wildlifecare.com grow!
